CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNT', MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-013 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />CONCEPT PLAN OF CARRIAGE HOMES IX FOR WILDERNESS RUN <br />WHEREAS, Carriage Homes has made application to the City of Lake Elmo for a Planned Unit <br />Development Concept Plan of Carriage Homes IX for "Wilderness Run" pursuant to Section 300.08 of the <br />Lake Elmo Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission considered the Planned Unit Development <br />Concept Plan request at its March 8, 2000 meeting, and recommended that the PUD Concept Plan be <br />denied based on the following finding: <br />1. The PUB Concept Plan is not in compliance with the SRD definition of 0.90 units per acre <br />previously recommended by the Planning Commission. <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council considered the recommendation at a density of 0.90 <br />units per acre density by the Planning Commission at its April 18, 2000 meeting, and approved the PUD <br />Concept Plan at a density of 1.4 units per acre of Carriage Homes IX for "Wilderness Run" <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lake Elmo City Council does hereby <br />approve the Planned Unit Development Concept .Plan of Carriage Homes IX for "Wilderness Run" as <br />signed and dated by the City Planner based on the following findings: <br />1. The Concept Plan conforms to the Comprehensive Plan of the City. <br />2. The Concept Plan satisfies the intent and purpose of the City's land use, zoning and <br />subdivision regulations. <br />3.
