CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-022 <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITON <br />AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT <br />RE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE ELMO, MINNESOTA <br />1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 50'h Street between State Highway 5 and County <br />Road 17 (Lake Elmo Avenue), filed with the Council on June 20, 2000, is hereby declared to be signed <br />by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in <br />conformity to Minnesota Statues 424.035. <br />2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all <br />convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether it should best be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as <br />recommended. <br />3. The Council directed the City Engineer to study traffic calming devices, back -to -back cul-de-sacs, and <br />a bike path connecting to the Stillwater High School. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 20`s day of June, 2000. <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary ueffne�, City Admi ator <br />
