CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 2001 -09 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT <br />FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF 50TH STREET FROM STATE HIGHWAY 5 <br />TO COUNTY ROAD 17 <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 50TH Street, from State Highway 5 to <br />County Road 17, by an bituminous overlay, and to assess the benefited property for all or <br />a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY <br />COUNCIL, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement, Identified as Option 4, as amended by the <br />City Engineer's memo dated February 15, 2001, be referred to the City <br />Engineer for study and that he is instructed to report to the council with all <br />convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the <br />proposed improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible and as to whether <br />it should be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, <br />and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council this 20th day of February 2001. <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />Mary Kukfner, Cit dministrator <br />
