.: <br />611 K11 SKII OUT 11011211 <br />I 0=414) all 1 143001 11Irâ–º ] <br />M11111 10AL111 I IN°Big twotril jallWIN <br />.. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to; resolutions passed by the Council, FOCUS Engineering, Inc. <br />was directed to prepare plans and specifications for the 2012 Street and Water Quality <br />Improvements in accordance with the DeMontreville Highlands Area Street hnprovements <br />Feasibility Report approved February S, 2012; <br />AND WHEREAS, the Council approved the design support services contract for these <br />improvements with Stantee Consulting Services, Inc. on April 3, 2012, for the preparation of <br />plans and specifications, plan printing, distribution and bidding services, limited construction <br />administration support, and construction staking; <br />AND WHEREAS, on May 1, 2012, the Council increased the project scope to include <br />parking lot improvements in DeMontreville Park and to the parking bump out at the entrance to <br />the DeMontreville Wildlife Area; <br />AND WHEREAS, Stantee Consulting Services, Inc. has completed the plans and <br />specifications for these improvements and FOCUS Engineering, Inc. has presented them to the <br />City Council for approval on June 5, 2012, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file at Lake Elmo City Hall and <br />made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in Finance <br />& Commerce an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under <br />such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for at least <br />21 days, shall specify the work to be done, and shall state that sealed bids provided to the <br />City Clerk prior to the specified bid date and time and accompanied by a bid bond or <br />cashier's check made payable to the City of Lake Elmo in an amount not less than 5% of <br />the amount of such bid will be considered. <br />Resolution 2012-24 1 <br />
