IIU <br />im111912 11"I <br />mKINXIINkilkag <br />A RESOLU77ONDESIGNA TING THE OAKDALE-LAKE ELMO REVIEWAS THE C17T'S <br />OFFICIAL NE FVSPA PER <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 412.831 states that a city council shall annually <br />at its first meeting of the year, designate a local newspaper of general circulation in the city as its <br />official newspaper for the publication of ordinances and other matters that are required by law <br />and deemed advisable by the council to be published; <br />WHEREAS, on January 5, 2016, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo designated <br />the Oakdale -Lake Elmo Review as the City's official newspaper and also designated the St. Paul <br />Pioneer Press as the City's alternate official newspaper; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been brought to the City's attention that the City can only have one <br />official newspaper; and <br />WHEREAS, the Oakdale -Lake Elmo Review is a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />City and the City wishes to designate it as its official newspaper; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council does hereby <br />approve the following: <br />1. That the City's official newspaper is the Oakdale -Lake Elmo Review, <br />2.
