CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNT <br />STATE OF INNESO` A <br />SOLUTION NO. 201 -24 <br />FEASIBILITYA RESOLUTION RECEIVING A ' ''; <br />IMPROVEMENTSADOPTING PROJECT ASSESSMENT POLICY FOR THE <br />OLD VILLAGE PHASE 2 STREET, DRAINAGE AND UTILITY <br />WHERE AS, pursuant to city council authorization, adopted on February 2, 2016, a feasibility <br />report has been preparedbyFOCUS Engineering, Inc, for the Old Village Phase 2 Street, Drainage and. <br />Utility Improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, the feasibility report reeonurends that benfitting properties be assessed all or a <br />portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant to the city's Special Assessment Policy and Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 42 , and <br />WHEREAS, the feasibility report provides information regarding whether the proposed <br />improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible, whether it should best be made as proposed or in <br />connection with some other improvement, the estimated cost of the improvements as reconunended; and a <br />description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, <br />1, That the City Council will consider the improvements in accordance with the report and: the <br />assessments of the abutting properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429 at an estimated total project cost of $ ,312 '7'7; <br />consisting; of the street and landscape improvements at $ ,81 ,611, sanitary sewer improvements <br />at $1,43 ,'740, street cape improvements at $81, 00, regional drainage improvements at <br />$254,016and water system improvements of $1,730,31 O <br />public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 3rd day of May, 2016, in <br />the council chambers of the City hall at or approximately after 7:00 P.M. and the clerk shall give <br />mailed and published notice of such Bearing and iniprovement as required by law. <br />ADOPTED BY THE LAKE I LMO CITY COUNCIL ON THE Ff CAI DAY OF APRIL, 2016. <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />Mile Pearson <br />(Seal) Mayo <br />A T: <br />Jule ohnson <br />City Clerk <br />Resolution No, 2016-24 �' <br />
