Interviews were completed in early July, and we made <br />conditional offers to five (5) applicants. <br /> <br />ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: <br />Should the following candidates be hired as paid on call Firefighters at the terms described below? <br /> <br />Jeremy Blankenship, Cliff Moore, Kaitlyn Truszinski, Ella Cadenhead, Matthew Moreland <br /> <br />PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS: <br />Upon approval, a start date will be determined contingent upon Background Screening, Drug Screening, <br />Psychological Evaluation and Abilities Test. Upon meeting those conditions, the applicant will be placed <br />on the department as a Probationary Firefighter. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The cost of pre-employment screening and wages for paid on call firefighters has been included in the 2025 <br />budget. <br /> <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Hire the above individuals as paid on call firefighters. <br />2. Re-advertise the position. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />If removed from the consent agenda: <br /> <br />Motion to hire Blankenship, Moore, Truszinski, Cadenhead, Moreland as paid on call firefighters. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />None
