Work efforts are largely complete with punchlist items left to be addressed prior to project acceptance. ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: Should the City Council approve Change Order No. 2 for the Hudson Boulevard Improvements – Segment A? PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS: Dresel Contracting, Inc. has submitted Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $27,849.05 for items found during construction but not included in the original contract documents. The itemization is included in the attachment. FISCAL IMPACT: This change order will increase the contract amount by $27,849.05 bringing the revised construction contract to $2,115,606.18. RECOMMENDATION: Staff is recommending that the City Council approve, as a part of the Consent Agenda, Change Order No. 2 for the Hudson Boulevard Improvements Project. If removed from the consent agenda, the recommended motion for the action is as follows: Motion to approve Change Order No. 2 for the Hudson Boulevard Improvements Project, thereby increasing the contract amount by $27,849.05.
