RESOLUTION NO 2011-017 <br />A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRA TOR AND MA YOR TO ENTER <br />INTO CONTRACT NO, 98460 WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF LANDSCAPE MATERIALS TO BE <br />UTILIZED ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 5 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo applied for and was approved to receive a grant <br />through the Mn /DOT Roadside Landscape Partnership Program to landscape within the road <br />right-of-way of State Highway 5; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lake Elmo enter into <br />Agreement No. 98460 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the <br />following purposes: <br />To provide for payment by the State to the City of the State's share of the costs of the <br />landscape materials acquisition to be installed along and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. <br />5 from 300 feet west of Iris Ave. to 300 feet east of Iris Ave. and along Trunk Highway <br />No. 5 from 1000 feet west of Little Bluestem Trail to 200 feet west of County State Aid <br />Highway No. 14 within the corporate City limits under State Project No. 8214 -969F. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City Administrator are <br />authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement. <br />ADOPTED BY the Lake Elmo City Council on the 19th day of April, 2011 <br />ATTEST: Dean A.
