MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />AUGUST 10, 2000 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10°i day of <br />August, 2000 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following <br />members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />MEMBERS ABSENT; <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Ms. Faith Kraemer <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES There being no corrections to the July 13, 2000 Planning Commission <br />minutes, those minutes stand approved as submitted. <br />CUP & The Planning Commission reviewed the application for Conditional Use <br />VARIANCE - Permit for total garage space of approximately 1,300 square feet, a <br />743 E. COUNTY Variance from the regulation prohibiting accessory buildings in the front <br />ROAD B-2 - and side yards for property at 743 East County Road B-2, as well as a <br />TACHENY Variance from the front yard setback requirements as requested by <br /> Dan and Wendy Tacheny. <br />Mr. Tacheny reported that when they acquired the property on B-2 there <br />was a 100-foot long garage/chicken coop on the property in the location <br />that they are proposing to place their second garage. Tacheny also <br />reported when he purchased the property, they reviewed many building <br />plans so that they could construct a house on the lot that would fit the lot. <br />He pointed out there are several valuable trees on the lot, there is the <br />location of an existing well that must be protected, as well as the need to <br />
