MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> I'LANNTNG COMMISSION <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> JULY 8, 2010 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br /> Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of <br /> July, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br /> Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br /> following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br /> Mr. Scott Barraclough <br /> Mr. Tom Duray <br /> Mr. Michael Everson <br /> Mr. Tom Fischer <br /> Mr. Jon Hall <br /> Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br /> Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV <br /> Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br /> <br /> MINUTES The June 10, 2010 Plamiing Conunission meeting minutes were approved <br /> as submitted. <br /> ARCHl- Ryan Politz, RJ Marco and JRR Holdings, appeared before the <br /> TECTUI2AL Commission and presented their proposal to develop a Subway <br /> REVIEW - Restaurant at 85 West Viking Drive. Politz described the building <br /> SUBWAY and site layout in detail. He noted that the site is somewhat elevated, but <br /> would be graded and the elevation lowered. This will provide for better <br /> visibility rounding the corner on Viking Drive. <br /> Knudsen noted that there is one entrance/exit into the site, and asked how <br /> the location was determined. Politz replied that their civil engineer made <br /> this location determination based on grades and Viking Drive elevations. <br /> It was determined that this would be the safest location for the <br /> entrance/exit. Politz indicated that it was also felt that having two drives <br /> into the site would be too much. Everson asked if the north end of the <br /> parking lot was considered for the driveway.
