WELCOME <br />ELECTION <br />OF <br />OFFICERS <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 3, 2013 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, was held <br />on the 3rd day of January, 2013, in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road East in said city. <br />Chair Linda Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the commission were present: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Ms. Linda Fahey <br />Mr. Jeff Heikke <br />Mr. Tom Maida <br />Mr. Dan Slain <br />Ms. Patti Sullivan <br />Mr. Kong Vang <br />ABSENT: Mr. Kevin Steinert <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Jim Morelan, Parks & Rec Dir. <br />Mr. Bill Sanders, Parks Consultant <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />The Commission welcomed Kong Vang as its newest member. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Maida, Patti Sullivan was <br />unanimously appointed as Chair to the Parks & Recreation Commission. <br />Upon motion by Slain, seconded by Maida, Jeff Heikke was unanimously <br />appointed as Vice Chair to the Parks & Recreation Commission. <br />MINUTES The Commission unanimously approved the minutes of the November 1, <br />2012 meeting. <br />FIRE BARNS The Parks & Recreation Director reviewed the status of Fire Barns <br />WARMING warming house project for the Commission's new member Kong Vang. <br />
