PARK BOARD INFORMATIONAL MEETING MAY 9, 1989 The Lino Lakes Park Board met as scheduled, although there was not a quorum. Chairman Ray Johnson decided to hold an informational meeting because the applicant for Park View Estates was present . At 7 : 08 p. m. the meeting was called to order. Members present were: Chairman Ray Johnson, Ken Johnson , and Candy Toffoli. . Candy Toffoli was feeling ill and left at 7 : 40 . Also present were: Public Works Director, Don Volk; Councilman Harold Bisel ; and Secretary, Laura Elken . PRELIMINARY PLAT REVIEW - PARKVIEW ESTATES/KEITH EIBENSTEINER Keith Eibensteiner purchased two tracts of land located immediately east of Sunrise Park . He wishes to subdivide them for single-family residential development . This property is west of Sunrise Park. Mr. Eibensteiner stated that 44 homes are planned for this plat . Chairman Ray Johnson suggested a 15 foot easement be taken for a walkway to be installed so that residents living in this area could have easy access to the park . Also utilities could enter the park through this walkway. The Park Board felt the best spot for a 15 foot walking trail, would be between Lots 8 thru 12 in Block 2 . Also it is the consensus of the board to accept a cash park dedication. City Planner, John Miller will be asked to present this to the next Planning and Zoning Board meeting. GREATER CENTENNIAL AREA RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Don Volk stated that the attorney is still working on the joint powers of agreement . Don also felt staff should be hired the winter of 1989 so the recreational program can get off to a good start in the spring of 1990 .
