Larried. <br /> Chairman Hanson stated the proposed amendment to Chapter 8 of <br /> the Charter was returned by City Lounci1 for the Commission <br /> to incorporate a protest provision. <br /> Several City residents were in attendance to express their <br /> concerns regarding the Charter change. An open discussion <br /> ensued with attending City representatives. <br /> - <br /> Warren Schlichting stated the Council is made up of elected <br /> officials. The Council has a say in modifying the Charter <br /> and are the main vehicle in control in the City. <br /> By way of clarification, three documents regarding the <br /> amendment appear in the file. <br /> 1.
