CITY OF LW LAKES <br /> PARK BQA= DMMTIW <br /> MCMAY, NOV930M 7, 1994 <br /> The City of Lim Lakes Park Board was called to order at 6:32pm <br /> by George Lindy, Chair. <br /> Roll Call was taken, members present were George Lindy, Sharon <br /> Lane, Brian Bourassa, Pam Taschuk, Ken Johnson, Joe Schmidt and <br /> Amy Donlin. Also present were Marty Asleson, Park, Recreation <br /> and Forestry CbOrdinator, Barry Bernstein, Recreation Program <br /> Supervisor and Sandie Wood, Recording Secretaxy. <br /> APPROVAL OF OCTOBER 3. 1994 XUU=.- There was discussion as to <br /> the motion that Brian Bourassa made on Page 3, C:oncept Review, <br /> Mrshan, Lake Tor nhomes- The motion should be changed and read as <br /> follows: <br /> "NDTION: Brian Bourassa made a Tmtion to accept the proposal as <br /> presented. withthe following conditions.- Have a transportation <br /> trail along Lake Drive from the north side of the property to the <br /> north boundary of the excepticn area and continuing on, on the <br /> south side of the exception area to the south of Aqua Lane in <br /> front of the proposed commercial area. They should construct the <br /> transportation trail all the way through the exception area and <br /> the trail should extend the length of Lake Drive from north to <br /> south in the Lake Drive night-of-way, if r-S= does not allow <br /> construction of trail to right-of-way, then the trail can be <br /> constructed in the development adjacent to the right-of-way. Por <br /> rocking out the area through the exception area the developer <br /> will be compensated as part of their casli dedication. This trail <br /> should be rough graded and rocked with 4 inches of mock. Our <br /> intent is to have that trail placed inside the state right-of- <br /> way. " Ken Johnson made a motion, seconded by Sharon Lane, to <br /> approve the October 3 Park Board minutes as corrected. Minutes <br /> were approved. <br /> QP-M MP;E.- There was no one present to speak under OPEM K1YJZ­ <br /> REVIM: Clearwater Creek Development - Marty introduced <br /> Tony Emmerich, developer of Clearwater Creek and gave back-ground <br /> information on this development. Clearwater Creek is a new area <br /> of consideration on the cast side of Interstate Highway 35E, <br /> bounded on the north side by Clearwater Creek, can. the east side <br /> by 24th Avenue South, and extendinq down to 64th Street an the <br /> south side. <br /> This will be a multi-phased project that will eventually produce <br /> about 450 homes with varying densities in the, different phases. <br /> The average density is between 1.2 to 1.5 houses per acre. <br /> Although the board is recommending a dedication for only Phase I <br /> 1 <br />
