RESOLUTION 82 -1 <br />41IRESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS <br />WHEREAS, Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, <br />as amended, provides for a program of Community Development <br />Block Grant, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City of Lino Lakes has joined nineteen (19) other municipalities <br />in order to qualify Anoka County as an Urban County, and <br />this designation has entitled the City of Lino Lakes to re- <br />ceive Community Development Block Grant Funds for 1981 and <br />1982, and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council authorized the 1981 Community <br />Development Block Grant Funds to be expended on the proposed <br />Lake Drive Trunk Sewer Project, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the proposed sewer project to date has not become a feasible <br />project for Community Development Block Grant Funding, and <br />such 1981 Community Development Block Grant Funds must be <br />expended by the Community within the guidelines set out by <br />Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, and <br />41/WHEREAS, the timing criteria for the disbursement of those 1981 funds <br />will be difficult to comply with in approving and administering <br />a new project, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br />That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby authorizes the City of <br />Andover to use the Lino Lakes Community Development Block <br />Grant allocation for 1981 with the understanding that Andover <br />will reciprocate by designating a like amount of Community <br />Development Block Grant Funds to the City of Lino Lakes to be <br />expended on a project authorized by the City Council for <br />completion in 1982. <br />The exchange of Community Development Block Grant funds shall <br />be administered by Anoka County.
