• <br />RESOLUTION 82 -3 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING MEMBERSHIP IN THE ANOKA JOINT LAW ENFORCEMENT COUNCIL <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council has the <br />authority to jointly and cooperatively exercise a power <br />common to all contracting parties in order to insure that <br />a proper regional organization of various municipalities <br />have the authority and responsibility to research and study <br />problems of Law Enforcement of a regional nature, together <br />with tl:e authority and-power to implement such regional <br />services, and <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council has <br />implemented several regional services and these regional <br />services are functioning for and within the City of Lino <br />Lakes, and <br />WHEREAS, The by -laws for the Ahoka County Joint Law Enforcement <br />Council established criteria for communities to have <br />representation on this Council, and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota <br />now meets that criteria as set forth in the by -lays of the <br />Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. It is requested that the governing members from the <br />cities of Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Columbia Heights, <br />Fridley, Spring Lake Park, and Anoka County Commissioners <br />of the Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council <br />convene, as soon as possible, for the purpose of <br />admitting the City of Lino Lakes to full membership <br />in the Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of <br />January, 1982. <br />17,2tA---/te,A-1 <br />Edna L.
