• <br />RESOLUTION #82 -10 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL's <br />WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council and the Metropolitan Council <br />have adopted the City's Comprehensive Plan for the planning <br />and development of the City's future, and <br />WHEREAS, this plan illustrates the need for utilities to be located <br />within the eastern section of the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the demands of existing 'development as well as presently <br />requested developmemts exemplify the need to extend utilities, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the present plans within this area have necessitated the Lino <br />Lakes City Council to request the extension of the Sanitary <br />Sewer line referenced as the "MWCC Interceptor (4NS - 523),? <br />three thousand (3,000) feet into Lino Lakes, and <br />WHEREAS, this extension is consistant with the recommendations as <br />stated at the June 23, 1981 Public Hearing on the proposed <br />amendments to the Water Quality Management Development Guide/ <br />Policy Plan. <br />• NOW THEREFORE Be it Resolved that: <br />The Lino Lakes City Council hereby requests that the Metropolitan Council <br />Water Quality Management Plan be amended and add hereto the above stated <br />sewer extension, that being the MWCC Interceptor (4NS -523) three thousand <br />(3,000) feet into the City limits as illustrated per the adopted <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this <br />1982. <br />ATTEST: <br />• v <br />Edna L.
