1 March 14, 1983 9 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M., March 14, 1983 by Mayor Benson with all members present. Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Schumacher and Mrs. Sarner were also present. Mr. Short arrived later. MINUTES - FEBRUARY 28, 1983 On considering the minutes, Mrs. Elsenpeter asked if a copy of the State of the City Address made by Mayor Benson would be attached and the Clerk said, Yes. Also, on page 5, second paragraph, - the vote should read :Mr. Marier and Mr. Kulaszewicz voted, No." Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. DISBURSEMENTS - FEBRUARY 28, 1983 /MARCH 14, 1983 Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to approve the disbursements of February 28, 1983 as presented. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Marier moved to approve the disbursements of March 14, 1983 as present- ed. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimosuly. OPEN MIKE There was no one to speak under this agenda item. RESOLUTION ##83 -11 - REQUESTING M.S.A. MAINTENANCE FUNDS Mr. Schumacher presented the following Resolution for Council actions explaining the necessity. Mr. Marier requested Mr. Schumacher to read the following Resolution: WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has been allocated Minnesota State Aid funding by the Minnesota Department of Transportation for 1983, and WHEREAS, these funds include $17,465.75 for the use of maintaining the City's Minicipal State Aid Road System, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That the Lino Lakes;: City Council hereby requests the Minnesota Department of Transportation to forward the City's Minicipal State Aid Maintenance allocation thus allowing the use of the funds to be expended in 1983.
