1 <br />March 14, 1983 <br />9 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order <br />at 7:00 P.M., March 14, 1983 by Mayor Benson with all members present. <br />Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Schumacher and Mrs. Sarner were also present. Mr. Short <br />arrived later. <br />MINUTES - FEBRUARY 28, 1983 <br />On considering the minutes, Mrs. Elsenpeter asked if a copy of the State <br />of the City Address made by Mayor Benson would be attached and the Clerk <br />said, Yes. Also, on page 5, second paragraph, - the vote should read :Mr. <br />Marier and Mr. Kulaszewicz voted, No." <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />DISBURSEMENTS - FEBRUARY 28, 1983 /MARCH 14, 1983 <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to approve the disbursements of February 28, 1983 <br />as presented. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the disbursements of March 14, 1983 as present- <br />ed. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimosuly. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />There was no one to speak under this agenda item. <br />RESOLUTION ##83 -11 - REQUESTING M.S.A. MAINTENANCE FUNDS <br />Mr. Schumacher presented the following Resolution for Council actions <br />explaining the necessity. Mr. Marier requested Mr. Schumacher to read <br />the following Resolution: <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City of Lino Lakes has been allocated Minnesota State Aid <br />funding by the Minnesota Department of Transportation for <br />1983, and <br />WHEREAS, these funds include $17,465.75 for the use of maintaining the <br />City's Minicipal State Aid Road System, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. That the Lino Lakes;: City Council hereby requests the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation to forward the <br />City's Minicipal State Aid Maintenance allocation thus <br />allowing the use of the funds to be expended in 1983. <br />Adopted by the Council this 14th day of March, 1983. <br />Edna L.
