Mr. Locher was instructed to write the necessary <br />ordinance for this. <br />Under the Park Board Report, Mr. Schumacher noted that the Park Board had a request <br />for the bases at the Babe Ruth Field in Lino Park. The team that has used that <br />field will no longer be using it and Mr. Gessner had requested the bases. These <br />bases had been purchased by the Lino Athletic Association and given to the City. <br />The Park Board had recommended that these bases be given to the Babe Ruth League. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to give the bases to the League at no cost. Seconded by. Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Park Board had also recommended an upgrading of the figures used for a per acreage <br />cost for money in leiu of land for park purposes. After some discussion of this <br />matter, Mr. Jaworski moved to refer this matter to the Assessor. Seconded by Mr. <br />McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Chief Myhre reported on the comparison he had done in conjunction with the Animal <br />Control. He had found some difference between the two facilities. Mr. McLean <br />moved to request a contract proposal from White Bear Township. Seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Under Old Business, Mr. Al Ross asked if there had been any thing done in reference <br />to the exit problem at Rocky's and was told that the State Highway Department had <br />been contacted. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 11:10 P.M. Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer <br />F.Kenneth Gourley, Mayor <br />February 25, 1981 <br />The Special Meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 8:00 P.M. <br />by Mayor Gourley with all members present except Mr. Jaworski. Mr. Schumacher was <br />also present. <br />Mayor Gourley said this meeting is for the purpose fo providing information on a pro- <br />posed sewer project that would start on County Road J and end just South of the trail- <br />er park. There will be no decision made at this meeting. This improvement is con - <br />carned with Hodgson Road, Linda Street and Laurene. <br />The meeting was turned over to the Engineer and Mr. Carley presented the estimated <br />790,000.00 as the cost for this project. Mr. Carley presented several ways in which <br />this could be assessed, which would be approximately $45.00 to $50.00 per front foot, <br />this would be on the per front foot only. <br />
