CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution No. 20 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR MUNICIPAL WATER AND SANITARY SEWER <br />FOR CERTAIN RESIDENTS ON ASH STREET (EXTENSION OF SHOREVIEW <br />UTILITIES) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />improvement as described in Resolution No. 16 -87, <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according <br />to law, and the following bids were received com- <br />plying with the advertisement: <br />Lessard -Nyren Utilities <br />C. W. Houle, Inc. <br />White Construction <br />0 & P Contracting <br />$147,970.50 <br />78,193.50 <br />85,700.00 <br />99,212.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that C. W. Houle, Inc. of 1300 County <br />Road I, Arden Hills, Minnesota is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, <br />• NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />• <br />1. <br />The Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into the attached contract with <br />C. W. Houle, Inc. of 1300 County Road I, Arden <br />Hills, Minnesota in the name of the City of Lino <br />Lakes for the installation of municipal water and <br />sanitary sewer to 165 Ash Street, 185 Ash Street, <br />205 Ash Street, 225 Ash Street, 246 Ash Street and <br />255 Ash Street according to plans and specificat- <br />ions therefor approved by the City Council and on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits <br />made with their bids, except that the deposits of <br />the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 27th day of April, 1987. <br />Benjamin G.
