• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution No. 23 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON RE- ASSESSMENT OF ULMER'S THIRD ADDITION <br />WHEREAS, by resolution passed by the Council on May 11, 1987, <br />the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed re- <br />assessment of the cost of improving Ulmer's Third <br />Addition, and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk, has notified the Council that such pro- <br />posed re- assessment has been completed and filed in <br />her office for public inspection, and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the re- assessment is to correct errors <br />and omissions in the original Rice Lake Estates Area <br />assessments. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. A hearing shall be held on the 8th day of June, 1987 <br />in the city hall at 7:30 P.M. to pass upon such pro- <br />posed re- assessment and at such time and place all <br />persons owning property affected by such improvement <br />will be given an opportunity to be heard with refer - <br />erence to such re- assessment. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice <br />of the hearing on the proposed re- assessment to be <br />published twice at least one week apart, in the off- <br />icial newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hear- <br />ing, and she shall state in the notice the total cost <br />of the improvement. She shall also cause mailed notice <br />to be given to the owner of each parcel described <br />in the re- assessment roll not less than two weeks <br />prior to the hearings. <br />3. The owner of any property so re- assessed may, at any <br />time prior to certification of the re- assessment to <br />the county auditor, pay the whole of the re- assessment <br />on such property, with interest accrued to the date of <br />the payment, to the City Clerk except that no interest <br />shall be charged if the entire re- assessment is paid <br />within 30 days from the adoption of the re- assessment. <br />He may at any time thereafter, pay to the City Clerk <br />the entire amount of the re- assessment remaining un- <br />paid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year <br />in which such payment is made. Such payment must be <br />made before October 10th or interest will be charged <br />through December 31st of the succeeding year. <br />Adopted by the Council this llth d. -', 1987. <br />enjamin .
