• CITY OF LINO LAKES Resolution No. 11 - 88 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING FOR THE CITY OF LINO LAKES FOR FUNDING YEAR 1988 - 1989. WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes is anticipating receiving Community Development Block Grant Funds in Funding Year 1988 -1989 in the amount of $26,475.00, and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, The City is dedicated to the concept of Economic Development so as to provide for the service needs of the community, and It is the desire of the Lino Lakes City Council to assist those new and incoming, or present businesses that meet H.U.D. Business and Employment Guidelines, and WHEREAS, The Lino Lakes City Council also supports the continuation of the Senior Citizens Center Coordinator Program which has been funded through C.D.B.G. Funds since it's inception, and WHEREAS, The Lino Lakes City Council also supports the program, and general operation of Alexandra House, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That the Lino Lake City Council hereby requests that $2,500.00 of its 1988 - 1989 C.D.B.G. Funds be used in support of the Alexandra House programs and operation. 2. That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby requests that $3,500.00 of its 1988 -1989 C.D.B.G. Funds be used for the Senior Center Coordinator's salary in promoting the Center's activities, programs, and general operation. 3. That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby requests that $1,977.37 of its 1988 - 1989 C.D.B.G. Funds be used for the reimbursement of Anoka County's 1987 C.D.B.G. Fund Budget. 4. That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby requests that the remaining $18,498.00 of its 1988 - 1989 C.D.B.G. Funds be dedicated to Economic Development projects for the community as stated in H.U.D. Guidelines for 1988.
