January 13, 1975 <br />The first regular meeting of 1975 of the Lino Lakes City Council was called <br />to order at 8:05 P.M. by Mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen present: Marier, <br />McLean. Absent Jaworski, Zelinka. <br />Mr. Marier moved to accept the minutes of December 23, 1974 as written. <br />Seconded by Mc. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Bohjanen noted the first order of business would be the appointments <br />for the year1975. He presented the following recommendations for consideration: <br />Mr. Landol Locher for City Attorney. Mr. Marier so moved, seconded by Mr. <br />McLean. Aye. <br />The Firm of Milner Carley with Mr. George Gotwald as, Consulting Engineer <br />for the City. Mr. Marier so moved, seconded by Mr. McLean. Aye. <br />Mr. Henry Amundsen as Building Inspector. Mr. McLean so moved, seconded <br />by Mr. Marier. Aye. <br />Mrs. Edna Sarner as Assessor until Mr. Kelling has completed the requirements <br />for certification. Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Aye. <br />Mr. Arnold Kelling as Deputy Assessor. Mr. McLean so moved, seconded by <br />Mr. Marier. Aye. <br />Mr. R. V. Ellingsen as Weed Inspector. Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded by <br />Mr. McLean. Aye. <br />Mr. Gerald Beach as Tree Inspector. Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded by <br />Mr. McLean. Aye. <br />Crimsoncross Kennel as Animal Control. Mr. McLean so moved. Seconded by <br />Mr. Marier. Aye. <br />Mr. Charles Cape as Civil Defense Director. Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Aye. <br />Mr. Milford Kline as Fire Marshall. Mr. McLean so moved. Seconded by Mr. <br />Marier. Aye. <br />Mr. Zelinka and Mr. Jaworski arrived. <br />Mr. Robert Vadnaisas Plumbing Inspector. Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded <br />by Mr. Zelinka. Aye. <br />Mr. Waldemar Hill as Auditor. Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded by Mr. <br />Zelinka. Aye. <br />Mr. Roy Backlin as Park and Road Supervisor. Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Aye. <br />Two papers are to be considered as Legal Paper for the City - The Forest <br />Lake Times and the Blaine- Spring Lake Park Paper. Mr. Marier moved to <br />designate the Forest Lake Times as the Legal Newspaper. Seconded by Mr. <br />McLean. Aye. <br />
