Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier announced that Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Johnson had served upon the <br />Village of Lino Lakes through District Court an order to show cause why the <br />Village should not issue a building permit as previously requested. Mr. <br />L'Allier and Mr. Locher had attended Court at 10 AM on June 17 before Judge <br />Gillespie. The attorneys and agreed to a one -week extension to give their <br />arguments. The Judge had instructed the two attorneys to submit legal briefs <br />to support their positions and were to appear back on Monday, June 24 at 2 P.M. <br />Discussion followed with Mr. Bohjanen wishing to know what the cost of the <br />attorney might be and Mr. Rosengren answering that the cost should be minimal, <br />prob,Yably nctover $200. Mr. Cardinal stated that we should find out once and <br />for all what the verdict is on this type of problem because if we give in now <br />we will be stuck with more of the same. <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion to authorize our Attorney, Landol Locher, to prepare <br />the necessary briefs in support of the Council's decision which was not to issue <br />a building permit to the Rolland Johnsons. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Vote: <br />aye --Mr. Jaworski, Mr. Cardinal, Mr. Rosengren and Mr. L'Allier; no --Mr. Bohjanen. <br />Carried. <br />
