Bruder of J &W pickup inviting him to the <br />next Council meeting. Since Mr. Lacer mentioned that a special use permit might <br />be necessary to continue his operations but, asking him to tell us his plans so <br />that judgement wouldn't be made before we hear their side of the story. Seconded <br />by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Page 3, paragraph 11 -- should be Ordinance 48 not 47. <br />W. Cardinal moved to accept the April 14 minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski. Carried. <br />Two bids had been received on the police car. One, from Fairview Chrysler- Plymouth <br />Inc., bid at $2777.00 for a 1969 4-door Plymouth, 290 HP, model PK 41. The other, <br />from Coon Rapids Chrysler - Plymouth, Inc. bid $2699.99 for a 1969 4 -door Plymouth, <br />295 HP, model Fury Police. Mr. Rosengren moved that the police and themayor review <br />the bids in detail and report back to the Council at the next meeting. Seconded by <br />Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />The Clerk reported that Sheriff Talbot and the County Commissioners wished to meet <br />with the Council at 7:30 on Thursday, May 1, along with Lexington. However, Lex- <br />ington's Council meeting is on that evening. The Clerk will contact Mr. Talbot and <br />see if the meeting is still on. <br />The Clerk asked whether the Council would set a fee for installation of culverts as <br />only the cost of the culvert itself is being charged; previously, the Council had <br />asked that a charge for installation would be set. W. Bohjanen moved to set a charge <br />of $10.00 for installation when materials are to be hauled in to set the culvert. <br />Seconded by W. Jaworski. Carried. <br />
