All members were present with the exception of Mr. Rosengren. <br />Mr. Donald Carley and Mr. George Gotwald explained a tentative plan for a sanitary <br />sewer system in the Village of Lino Lakes should there be a need for same at a <br />future date. It was stated at the meeting that while Lino Lakes at this time does <br />not need a sewer it was vise to have discussions and have this sewer survey for <br />future use. <br />Since our village letterheads are almost exhausted, securing new letterhead and <br />printing of the information guide were discussed. <br />Meeting was over shortly after 10 :00 PM. <br />Minutes approved April 10, 1967. <br />Clerk. <br />Regular Meeting of the Village of Lino Lakes was called to order at 8:00 PM April 10, <br />1967 with all members present. <br />Minutes of the March 27th meeting were read. Motion made by Mr. Rosengren to approve <br />minutes as read. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Minutes of March 29th special meeting were read. Motion made by Mr. Cardinal to <br />approve minutes as read. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />It was reported that during March the Police Dept. traveled 1063 miles and had a <br />total of 204 hours. <br />Letter addressed to Council by Neil Banta and Clyde Rehbein regarding some land to <br />be sub - divided was turned over to the P&Z Board. Motion to this effect made by Mr. <br />L'Allier. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier reported on the Multi- purpose Service District and Local Consent Law. <br />He also discussed House Bill No. 1764 dealing with gross earnings tax and felt we <br />should instruct our legislators to delete the portion of -the bill stating that a <br />Village had to have over 5000 population. Mr. L'Allier made a motion that we go on <br />record with our legislators expressing our feelings on these bills. Seconded by Mr. <br />Ross. Passed unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier stated a bill was introduced regarding Municipal control over County <br />and Judicial Ditches lying within its boundaries. Mr. L'Allier made a motion to ask <br />Senator Greig to support this bill. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen reported on the April 5th meeting of the Community and Business Develop- <br />ment Commission of Lino Lakes. <br />Mr. Bohjanen stated Mr. Lawrence Marvey was present and discussed some of his future <br />plans. The Rice Creek Watershed program was also discussed. Mr. Locher stated he <br />had heard nothing since September or October of 1966 regarding the Watershed. <br />
