1 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />DATE: December 4, 2014 <br /> <br />MEMBERS <br />PRESENT: Nathan Vojtech, Thomas Colgan, Chad Wagner, Rebecca Glewwe. <br /> <br />MEMBERS <br />ABSENT: Lou Masonick, Tami Wier, Don Johnson, Julie Schwartz, Matt Kassner. <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Michael Grochala, Celeste McDermott. <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />It was moved by Chad Wagner to approve the minutes of October 9th, 2014. The motion was <br />seconded by Thomas Colgan and passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />REVIEW OF REQUEST OF INTEREST- LEGACY AT WOOD’S EDGE <br /> <br />Mr. Grochala provided an overview of the Request of Interest-Legacy at Wood’s Edge. The <br />Expression of Interest is designed to gauge developer interest in a partnership with the city and to <br />get feedback regarding what type of development might be best suited to the site. Lino Lakes is <br />focused on attracting high quality development to the area and is hoping to see a mix of higher <br />density housing as well as commercial development. <br /> <br /> <br />PROJECT UPDATES <br /> <br />Mr. Grochala provided an overview of current projects including: the Mattamy, Saddle Club, and <br />NorthPointe developments; new businesses opening within the community including Kingdom <br />Baking and Tasty Asia; and MnDOT expansion of the MnPASS program along 35E. <br /> <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:55 AM. <br />
