ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />August 28, 2007 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Mayor Faust; Council Members Gray, Horst, Stille, and Thuesen. <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: City Manager Mornson <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />ITEMS: <br />I. APPROVAL OF THE AUGUST 28, 2007 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />Mayor Faust added Item E to the consent agenda. <br />Motion by Councilmember Horst, seconded by Councilmember Thuesen, to approve the City <br />Council meeting agenda of August 28, 2007 as amended. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS <br />Congressman Keith Ellison thanked everyone who serves the people of St. Anthony. He shared <br />information on congressional activities and let everyone know his office is open to the residents. <br />He stated Mr. Brian Elliot, District Director, is an expert on the environment and energy issues. <br />He addressed the Earmarking process, associated projects, and projects since he took office. <br />III. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Consider Approval of the August 14, 2007 Council Meeting Minutes <br />B. Consider Licenses and Permits <br />C. Claims <br />D. Resolution 07 -064: ADDIoving Donation from Wal *Mart Foundation to St. Anthon <br />Police Department for Citizen's Academy <br />E. Lions White Cane Days. <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Horst, to approve the Consent <br />Agenda as presented. <br />
