CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 16 -067 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR THE <br />ADVANCED OXIDATION PROCESS WATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />AND APPURTENANT WORK INCLUDING THE REHABILITATION <br />OF THE GROUND STORAGE RESERVOIR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the <br />above - referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />Gridor Construction, Inc. $6,614,700.00 <br />Rice Lake Construction Group $6,652,700.00 <br />Municipal Builders, Inc. $6,704,500.00 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Gridor Construction, Inc. of Buffalo, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Gridor Construction, Inc. in the amount of $6,614,700.00 in the name of the City of <br />St. Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above - referenced <br />project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The Engineer, WSB & Associates, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the <br />successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has <br />been signed. <br />Adopted this 13"' day of September, 2016. <br />ATTEST: <br />Nicol Miller, City Cle •k <br />Reviewed for administration: <br />Jerome O.
