ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 JULY 24, 2018 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />I I Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Faust, Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Randle and Stille. <br />16 Absent: None <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Liquor Operations Manager Mike Larson, Police Chief <br />18 Jon Mangseth and Sergeant Mike Huddle. <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />22 ITEMS. <br />23 <br />24 I. APPROVAL OF JULY 24, 2018 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />25 <br />26 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson to approve the City <br />27 Council Meeting Agenda of July 24, 2018 as presented. <br />28 <br />29 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />30 <br />31 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS <br />32 <br />33 A. Presentation of 2018 Villa eg Fest <br />34 <br />35 VillageFest Chairperson Ms. Julianne Hunter presented the events planned for the 2018 <br />36 VillageFest, noting they are still looking for participants for some of the events. The website is <br />37 www.stanthon vY illagefest.com. Ms. Hunter thanked all the sponsors and volunteers to make this <br />38 a wonderful event. She mentioned the members of the committee who can be seen wearing <br />39 VillageFest shirts throughout the event. They are still looking for volunteers. <br />40 <br />41 Mayor Faust asked what the colors of the shirts are this year and Ms. Hunter stated they are <br />42 purple. The parade shirts are neon yellow /green. Mayor Faust thanked the committee for all their <br />43 efforts. <br />44 <br />45 B. Presentation of Night to Unite <br />46 <br />47 Police Chief Mangseth thanked the Council for their support of Night to Unite. He provided a <br />48 brief update to the Council regarding some of the technology and systems upgrades in the Police <br />49 Dept. Body -worn cameras were ordered yesterday. A training program will be developed for the <br />
