ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />JANUARY 22, 2019 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Faust, Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Randle and Stille. <br />16 Absent: None <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, President & CEO Northeast Youth and Family Services <br />18 Jerry Hromatka, Co- Navigator Village WinterFest Chad Gillard, Parks Commission <br />19 Chair Erin Jordahl - Redlin, and GreenCorp Member Minette Saulog. <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />23 ITEMS. <br />24 <br />25 I. APPROVAL OF JANUARY 22, 2019 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />26 <br />27 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Randle, to approve the City <br />28 Council Meeting Agenda of January 22, 2019 as presented. <br />29 <br />30 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />31 <br />32 I1. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />33 <br />34 A. Presentation of Northeast Youth and Family Services <br />35 <br />36 President and CEO Jerry Hromatka reviewed a PowerPoint presentation on the Northeast Youth <br />37 & Family Services (NYFS) including general information, programs, budget, revenue sources, <br />38 services, community trends, fifteen partnerships, and future events including a May 1, 2019 <br />39 Leadership Lunch and June 10, 2019 Mayor's Challenge Golf Tournament. <br />40 <br />41 Councilmember Randle asked how NYFS's message is communicated. Mr. Hromatka stated that <br />42 depends on which message they are trying to communicate. They work closely with the schools, <br />43 physicians, police departments, twitter, Facebook, CTV, etc. <br />44 <br />45 Councilmember Stille thanked Mr. Hromatka for coming to the meeting. He asked about the next <br />46 level of services and whether there has been a shortage for outplacement services. Mr. Hromatka <br />47 stated mental health services are more accepted. <br />48 <br />
