CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 22-070 <br />A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR DELINQUENT <br />PUBLIC UTILITY SERVICE ACCOUNTS TO THE 2023 RAMSEY COUNTY TAX <br />ROLLS <br />WHEREAS, utility records for the City of St. Anthony identify certain delinquent charges <br />and utility accounts as of October 3, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, the owners of record of the properties served by each delinquent account have <br />been notified of the delinquency according to the legal requirements of the <br />ordinance 33.107; and <br />WHEREAS, the delinquent charges maybe assessed under Minnesota Statutes § 429.101 and <br />444.075 that authorize certification of such delinquent charges to the County tax <br />rolls for collection; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given to the owners of record as required by <br />law, the City has met the requirements for the assessment of these delinquent <br />public utility charges. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1) The special assessment of delinquent public utility accounts is hereby adopted and <br />certified as Levy No: 81202201 for the attached properties and amounts: <br />2) The special assessments as adopted shall be payable with collectible ad valorem <br />taxes in 2023, with interest thereon at eight (8) percent per annum, and shall bear <br />interest from the entire period of November 30, 2022 through December 31, 2023. <br />3) The City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this assessment to the County <br />Auditor to be extended to the proper tax lists to the county, and such assessments <br />shall be collected and paid over the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />Adopted this I I"' day of October, 2022. <br />Randy St�llgl, Mayor' <br />ATTEST: U w/ <br />City Cler1 <br />Review for Administration: <br />Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />
