ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETrNG MrNUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 24 , 2013 <br />CALL TO ORDER. <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m . <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />ROLLCALL. <br />Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Roth and Stille . <br />None. Absent: <br />Also Present: Director of Public Works Jay Hartman. <br />Guest: Metro Cities Executive Director Patricia Nauman. <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />ITEMS. <br />I. APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 24, 2013, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson , to approve the City <br />Council Meeting Agenda of September 24, 2013. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />A. Proclamation of Kiwanis Peanut Day on September 27.2013. <br />Councilmember Stille recited the Proclamation of Kiwanis Peanut Day on September 27 , 2013. <br />Mayor Faust introduced Kiwanis Board members Rick Dunn and Tom Miller. <br />Mr. Dunn stated the Kiwanis Club appreciates the close working relationship with the City and <br />thanked the City for its ongoing support of the Kiwanis through contributions and volunteer <br />work. He stated the Kiwanis Club supports a number of community projects including providing <br />two scholarships each year to graduating seniors at St. Anthony Village High School as well as <br />leadership development clubs in the schools. He indicated that this is the Kiwanis Club's 42 nd <br />year of holding the Peanut Day in St. Anthony and expressed appreciation to the City for <br />allowing them to hold this event every year. <br />Mayor Faust requested that Mr. Dunn express the City Council thanks to the membership of the <br />Kiwanis Club for their commitment and for everything Kiwanis has given to the community. <br />III.
