• Page 3 <br />City Council Minutes <br />October 25, 2000 <br />match the existing ones. After brief discussion, councilmember Talbot moved to approve the proposal <br />from Muska Electric Co. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Presentation by Como Park Block Nurse Program <br />Terese Buckley and Mark Traner presented the facts about the Como Park Block Nurse Program and <br />how it is designed to help seniors live at home independently. They gave a brief history of the program <br />and funding information as well as some of their accomplishments. They presently serve a portion of <br />Falcon Heights and would be interested in serving the entire city if funding and support can be <br />obtained. Mayor Gehrz said we might want to promote the program in the city newsletter and ask for <br />volunteers. Mayor Gehrz thanked them for their time in informing council of this worthwhile service <br />to seniors and said Administrator Worthington and Ms. Buckley should remain in contact. <br />Information and Announcements <br />Mayor Gehrz publicly thanked the Falcon Heights/Lauderdale Lion's Club's donation for the brick <br />columns that have recently been installed as part of the park entrance enhancement project. <br />Adjourn <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m. <br />Res ect ubm'tted, <br />Pat Phillips <br />Deputy Clerk <br />• <br />
