Ciernia moved that the quote from Vido Alpha be <br />accepted subject to the contingencies as listed. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />QUOTE FOR REMODELING OF COUNCIL CHAMBERS APPROVED <br />Kelly presented the two quotes received for the council chambers <br />remodeling project and indicated that staff recommends accepting <br />the low quote from D. R. Schultz and Associates at a cost of <br />$5,160.54. Gibson Talbot moved acceptance of the D. R. Schultz <br />quote which carried unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF ADDITIONAL STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AT FOLWELL AND <br />FORD R.O.W. <br />Hoyt explained that over the years there have been drainage <br />problems in the area of Folwell Ave. and Ford pathway. Since <br />contractors are working on the 1993 improvement project it seemed <br />timely to study the problem. She indicated that the city <br />engineer is recommending some minor improvements which should <br />improve the situation. Following a brief discussion Council <br />placed a $1,700.00 cap on the project cost and Jacobs moved that <br />the improvements be made as a part of the 1993 street improvement <br />project. Motion carried unanimously. <br />REPAIR AND RESURFACING OF COMMUNITY PARK PARKING LOT APPROVED <br />Hoyt explained that repair of Community Park parking lot has been <br />budgeted in the park capital improvement fund for the past two <br />years, but has been delayed until 1993 to coincide with the <br />street project. The contractor for the 1993 steet project has <br />indicated they will do the work at a cost of $10,000. Gehrz <br />moved authorziation to contract with F. M. Frattalone for repair <br />of Community Park parking lot at a cost of $10,000.00.
