This one-time request is made to compliment the Minnesota League of Human
Rights contribution toward Gwen's attendance at the conference. The challenged elected
official hires an attorney for his/her defense. The LMC plan reimburses the challenged
elected official for legal expenses up to 80% of the cost, but not to exceed $20,000.
The cost of the policy for the mayor and council is $500/year. After weighing the
pros and cons, Hustad moved to purchase the open meeting insurance policy from the
League of Minnesota Cities and motion carried unanimously.
MEETING ADJOURNED AT 9:06 P.M.
,~
,, Tom Baldwin, Mayor
V `; i
~ _ _ r,
\~~_ ~ t~-t,~
Patricia Phillips, Interim Seca ary
