MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 19, 1991 <br />i~ <br />Baldwin convened the meeting at 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />f <br />ALL MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Ciernia, Gehrz, Jacobs and Wallin. Also present were <br />Hoyt, Chenoweth and Maurer. <br />ADDENDA TO CONSENT AGENDA <br />Council approved the addition of the following items to the <br />Consent Agenda: F-6, Consider Applying for DNR Tree Planting <br />Grant, and F-7, Drainage Improvement at Pascal and Iowa. <br />MINUTES OF 5/22/91 APPROVED <br />Council approved the Minutes of Nlay 22, 1991 by unanimous <br />consent. <br />ASSESSMENT HEARING ON HAMLINE AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS (LARPENTEUR TO <br />COUNTY ROAD B2) <br />Baldwin opened the Fublic Hearing at 7:05 P.M. and explained <br />that parking on the west side of Hamline may be allowed upon <br />completion of the project, and that direct assessments to the <br />property owners have been reduced due to an amendment to the <br />assessment policy. <br />Maurer explained the amended assessment rates and commented on <br />one error in the amount assessed Knott Enterprises for their <br />corner lot. He also indicated that the proposed change in MSA <br />regulations might allow for striping 3 traffic lanes and one <br />parking lane. <br />Baldwin then asked for comments from those in attendance and <br />since no one wished to be heard, the Public Hearing was closed <br />at 7:13 P.M. Wallin moved adoption of Resolution R-91-35 with <br />the amendment of the assessment to Knott Enterprises. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-91-35 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE HAMLINE <br />AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Council approved the following Consent Agenda by unanimous <br />consent: <br />1. Disbursements: <br />a. General Disbursements through 5/21/91, $21,808.80 <br />b. General Disbursements through 5/3/91, $27,743.16 <br />c. General Disbursements through 6/10/91, $20,694.35 <br />d. Payroll 5/16/91 - 5/31/91, $9,723.77 <br />e. Payroll 6/1/91 - 6/15/91, $10,944.36 <br />2. Temporary Part-time Summer Recreation Program <br />Appointments <br />
