MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JULY 24, 1991 <br />Baldwin convened the meeting at 7:00 P.M. <br />ALL MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Ciernia, Gehrz, Jacobs and Wallin. Also present were <br />Hoyt, Chenoweth and Westerberg. <br />ADDENDA TO AGENDA <br />Council approved the addition of the following items: G(3), <br />Renaming Idaho/Snelling Park and H(1), Planning Commission <br />Minutes of July 22, 1991. <br />MINUTES OF 6/19/91 APPROVED <br />Council approved the Minutes of June 19, 1991 by unanimous <br />consent. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />The following Consent Agenda items were approved by unanimous <br />consent: <br />1. Disbursements: <br /> (a) General Disbursements through 6/30/91, $162,393.68 <br /> (b) General Disbursements through 7/11/91, $180,105.50 <br /> (c) Payroll 6/15/91 - 6/30/81, $11,869.96 <br /> (d) Payroll 7/1/91 - 7/15/91, $13,126.43 <br />2. Licenses <br />3. Approval of Water Main Work at Idaho/Snelling Park at a <br /> Cost of $1,722.00 <br />4. Approval of Partial Payment #2 to Valley Paving for 1991 <br /> Street Improvement Project ($233,361.23) <br />5. Appointment of Robert Tapp to Solid Waste Commission to <br /> complete term of John Thompson, such term to expire <br /> 12/31/91 <br />6. Adoption of Ordinance 0-9-11 Amending 2-9.03 of the Code <br /> Relating to the Solid Waste Commission <br />7. Approval of a $ 30.00 Donation to Retired Senior <br /> Volunteer Program <br />8. Approval of Use of City Hall Parking Lot for Fire <br /> Department State Fair Parking Fundraiser <br />9. Designation of Streets to be Posted "No Parking" and <br /> "Permit Parking Only" During State Fair <br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST FROM ROBERT GALL, 1687 ARONA, FOR PARTIAL <br />REIMBURSEMENT FOR REMOVAL OF PRIVATE SPRINKLER SYSTEM FROM CITY <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />Baldwin explained that due to the Arona Street construction it <br />was necessary for Mr. Gall to remove his sprinkler system from <br />the City right-of-way. At the time the installation was made no <br />City permit was required and Mr. Gall was unaware that the system <br />should not be placed in the boulevard area. Ciernia moved that <br />Mr. Gall be reimbursed in the amount of $136.33, one-half of the <br />amount paid by Mr. Gall. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
