i.} <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 12, 1992 <br />Baldwin convened the meeting at 7:00 P.M. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Ciernia, Gehrz and Jacobs. Also present were Chenoweth <br />and Hoyt. <br />ABSENT <br />Gibson Talbot. (Arrived later.) <br />MINUTES OF 1/22/92 APPROVED <br />Council approved the Minutes of January 22, 1992 by unanimous <br />consent. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPPROVED <br />Council approved the following consent agenda by unanimous <br />consent: <br />1. Disbursements <br />(a) General Disbursements through 1/30/92, $721,074.85 <br />(b) Payroll, 1/16/92 - 1/31/92, $10,456.79 <br />2. Approval of Recycling Grant Agreement <br />3. Pay Equity Report <br />4. Adoption of Resolution R-92-3 Proclaiming the Week of <br />March 1-8, 1992 as Volunteers of America Week in Falcon <br />Heights <br />5. Reinstatement of Dennis LeMay to Fire Department <br />6. Authorization to Order Additional Copies of the "Living <br />in Falcon Heights" Booklets <br />7. Licenses <br />ADDENDUM TO POLICY AGENDA <br />Council approved the addition of Item P-6, Resolution of Support <br />for Northwest Youth and Family Services CDBG Application. <br />LEGISLATURE URGED TO DESIGNATE A LOCAL GOVERNMENT TRUST FUND <br />Baldwin explained that there is some concern that any excess <br />funds in the local option sales tax account may be used by the <br />State of Minnesota to offset their shortages. Due to this <br />concern the League of Minnesota Cities has requested members to <br />adopt a resolution requesting the legislature to designate a <br />local government trust fund. Ciernia moved adoption of <br />Resolution R-92-4 which carried unanimously. <br />
