Motion carried unanimously. ORDINANCE N0. 204 AN ORDINANCE RESCINDING ORDINANCE N0. 193 ORDINANCE RELATING TO CABLE COMMUNICATIONS N0. 204 Council considered a request from Ann McKay, 1907 W. Larpenteur, that SANITARY a sanitary sewer penalty be excused. Due to the fact that the penalty SEWER PENALTY occurred as a result of an error made by the Postal Service, Council- EXCUSED, member Ciernia moved, seconded by Mayor Eggert, that the penalty be 1907 W. excused. Motion carried unanimously. LARPENTEUR Attorney Gasteazoro explained that she has contacted the City's AMBULANCE insurance carrier and the current policy does not provide malpractice INSURANCE coverage for the ambulance personnel. Council directed the Clerk Administrator to check on available insurance and report back at the April 25th meeting with prices and recommendations. Attorney Gasteazoro reported that in a conversation with Commander Spencer of the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department he informed her COMMUNICAT- that the City does not pay into the County's Capital Improvement IONS Fund and therefore there are no funds available to cover the cost SYSTEM of the fire communications system. Following a discussion, Council- member Ciernia moved, seconded by Councilmember Baldwin, that the Fire Department be informed that the City agrees to pay its share, the share to be determined on a pro-rated population basis (as provided in the Sheriff's contract). Motion carried unanimously. It was also suggested that at the time the 1985 contract is negotiated, an attempt be made to fund for items such as the communications system. Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded by Councilmember Baldwin, that CONTRACT the Mayor and Clerk Administrator be authorized to sign the contract WITH MAPSI with Minnesota Animal Patrol Service, Inc. Motion carried unani- TO BE mously. SIGNED After a short discussion, Councilmember Baldwin moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard, that Resolution 84-12 be adopted. Motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 84-12 RESOLUTION 84-12 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A JOINT PURCHASING AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ST. PAUL Council briefly discussed the proposed Joint and Cooperative Agreement PUBLIC WORKS for use of Personnel and Equipment (Public Works Mutual Aid) and MUTUAL AID deferred the matter to the April 25th meeting in order that the Clerk DEFERRED TO Administrator may be in attendance. All information pertaining to the 4/25/84 matter will be provided to each Councilmember prior to the meeting. Engineer Schunicht presented and explained his written report dated OVERFLOW April 10, 1984, in regard to the lake overflow meeting on March 29, 1984. UPDATE
