MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 11, 1984 <br />PAGE 4 <br />He expressed concern over the fact that the proposed solution does not OVERFLOW <br />propose to abate Falcon Heights overflow charges (as it does for the (cont.) <br />majority of the other communities) but leaves the resolution of the <br />charges to negotiations between the City of St. Paul and Falcon Heights. <br />Following a discussion, Council authorized the City Attorney and City <br />Engineer to prepare a resolution indicating that Falcon Heights will <br />not support a solution to the overflow problem unless that solution <br />includes complete abatement of the lake overflow charges. The proposed <br />resolution will be discussed at the April 25, 1984 Council meeting. <br />Council considered two quotes on the possible installation of a door <br />between the Fire Department and City Administration, the proposed <br />location to be between the Fire Department bay and the Administration <br />machine room. Following a short discussion, the Clerk Administrator <br />was directed to obtain at least one more quote to get more specific <br />information regarding the work included in the quotes. <br />~~ <br />DISCUSSION <br />DOOR BETWEEN <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />& ADMIN. <br />OFFICE <br />Councilmember Chestovich reported on the Business Meetings which NEXT BUSINESS <br />have been held on the last Tuesday of each month. Council concurred MEETING <br />that the meetings are worthwhile, however, perhaps it is not necessary SCHEDULED FOR <br />to meet each month. The next meeting is scheduled for May 30, 1984 5/30/84 <br />at 7:30 A.M., the topic of discussion will be the impact of the State <br />Fair on Falcon Heights businesses. <br />Council noted the Council/Planning Commission Workshop on the Revision ZONING ORD. <br />of the Zoning Ordinance is to be held April 23, 1984 at 7:00 P.M. WORKSHOP <br /> NOTED <br />Councilmember Chestovich informed that she will be working on the <br />Council Newsletter on April 21st and urged Councilmembers to turn in NEWSLETTER TO <br />articles before that time. Also discussed was the policy on newsletter BE PREPARED <br />delivery, any non-profit organization may request to deliver. 4/21/74 <br />Council noted that the League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference LMC MEETING <br />is to be held June 12 through 15 in Duluth, Minnesota. IN DULUTH <br />4/12-4/15 <br />Attorney Gasteazoro presented proposed Resolution 84-13 amending <br />Tax Increment Financing Plan as recommended by the Bond Attorney. <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Baldwin that 84-13 <br />be adopted, that the Public Hearing be scheduled for May 9, 1984 <br />at 7:30 P.M., and that the Clerk Administrator be authorized to <br />publish the hearing notice.
