MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MAY 23, 1984 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon I~eights City Council was called to order <br />at 8:09 P.hi. <br />Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Chestovich, Baldwin and Hard. Also present PRESENT <br />were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Attorney Gasteazoro and Engineer Schunicht. <br />Councilmember Ciernia. ABSENT <br />Councilmember Chestovich moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard, that the CONSENT <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. AGENDA <br />APPROVED <br />1. Motion carried 5/9/84 <br />unanimously. APPROVED <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that the ADDENDUM TO <br />following items be added to the agenda: (1) Consider Purchase of 24 AGENDA <br />Additional Folding Tables at $88.00 each, and (2) Emergency Lighting <br />for Fire and Maintenance Departments at a Cost of $178.00 per Light. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Chuck Wiger, Metropolitan Council Representative for Falcon Heights, METRO COUNCI] <br />addressed Council. He briefly reviewed the lake overflow problem and PRESENTATION <br />explained that he was confident the present task force will find an CHUCK WIGER, <br />equitable solution. Mr. Wiger informed that Metro Council is presently JUDY FLET- <br />working on such items as health care cost containment, Cable TV, planning CHER, RAY <br />and transit. On June 11, 1984, 7:00 P.M., Roseville City Hall, a hearing ODE <br />will be held for interested candidates for the soon to be established <br />Transit Board. <br />Mr. Wiger then introduced Judith Fletcher, the City's Representative <br />
