MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 23, 1985 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order at <br />7:00 P.M. by Acting Mayor Hard. <br />Acting Mayor Hard, Councilmembers Baldwin and Ciernia. Also present were PRESENT <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes and Attorney Gasteazoro. <br />Mayor Eggert. ABSENT <br />1 <br />Acting Mayor Hard moved, seconded by Councilmember Baldwin, that the CONSENT <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. Licenses: <br /> Mechanical Contractors <br />Central Air Conditioning & Heating 4470 More's Burner Service ~~471 <br />1791 Seneca Road 5503 Erickson Road <br />St. Paul, MN 55122 Mounds View, MN <br />Council discussed a letter from Robert Ellis, 2111 Folwell, requesting that <br />the "No Parking-Tow Away Zone" sign be removed from in front of his home. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes explained that the sign has been installed at <br />the request of homeowners in the area, Ramsey County Public Works, and <br />the bus company, as cars parked in that area barred proper snow plowing <br />and ample space for school busses to turn the corner. Council directed <br />the Clerk Administrator to draft a letter to Mr. Ellis explaining why the <br />sign must remain. <br />R. ELLIS, <br />2111 FOLWELL, <br />COMPLAINT RE: <br />"NO PARKING <br />TOW AWAY" <br />SIGN BY HIS <br />HOME <br />Frank Kubitschek, representing the University of Minnesota Retirees Corporation, <br />was in attendance to present the $500.00 fee for the Corporation's appli- U OF MN <br />cation for Tax Increment Financing, and a signed preliminary development RETIREES <br />agreement. Following a discussion, Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded PRELIMINARY <br />by Councilmember Baldwin, that Resolution R-85-6 be adopted setting the DEVELOPMENT <br />public hearing on Tax Increment Financing for February 27 at 7:30 P.M. AGREEMENT <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-85-6 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN <br />Acting Mayor Hard moved, seconded by Councilmember Baldwin, that the Minutes <br />of January 9, 1985 be approved as presented.
