Request from Cindy Laszewski, 1713 St. Mary's to Barricade <br />St. Marys on September 7th for a Block Party <br />Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded by Councilmember Baldwin, that <br />the Minutes of August 14, 1985, be approved as presented. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Acting Mayor Hard moved, seconded by Councilmember Ciernia, that a <br />Public Hearing on use of revenue sharing funds and the 1986 Budget <br />be scheduled for September 25, 1985 at 7:15 P.M., and authorized <br />publication of the hearing notice. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Baldwin moved, seconded by Councilmember Ciernia, that <br />a Public Hearing on the Coffman-Larpenteur assessments be scheduled <br />for September 11, 1985 at 7:45 P.M., and that the Clerk Administrator <br />be authorized to publish the hearing notice. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Baldwin moved, seconded by Councilmember Ciernia, that <br />a Public Hearing on the Tatum/Lindig Assessments be held at 8:00 P.M. <br />on September 11, 1985, and that the Clerk Administrator be authorized <br />to publish the hearing notice. Motion carried unanimusly. <br />Council briefly discussed whether or not assessments should be lowered <br />due to the fact that the bid for the project came in lower than <br />anticipated. Councilmember Ciernia was of the opinion that some <br />adjustment should be made and Councilmember Chenoweth stated he felt <br />that assessments should be consistent with the policy and if any <br />adjustment is made, it should be on the street improvements, not <br />storm sewer. <br />at 7:10 P.M. Acting Mayor Hard opened the continuation of the Public <br />Hearing on Modification of Economic Development District No. 1 within <br />Development District No. 1 and Attorney Van de North presented the proposed <br />resolution removing the Hawkins Trust property from Economic Development <br />District No. 1. Council briefly discussed the resolution after which <br />Acting Mayor Hard closed the Public Hearing at 7:15 P.M., there being no <br />one in attendance wishing to be heard. <br />Acting Mayor Hard moved, seconded by Councilmember Ciernia, that <br />Resolution R-85-49 be adopted.
