MINUTES ~ ~~ <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />DECEMBER 19, 1985 <br />A Special City Council Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Eggert. <br />PRESENT <br />Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Hard, Chenoweth and Baldwin. Also present were Clerk <br />Administrator Barnes, Attorney Gasteazoro, and Engineer Sehunicht. <br />ABSENT <br />Couneilmember Ciernia. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Couneilmember Baldwin, that the Consent Agenda be <br />approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. (See attached list.) <br />MINUTES OF 11/26/85 APPROVED <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Couneilmember Baldwin, that the Minutes of November 26, <br />1985 be aproved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES OF 12/3/85 APPROVED <br />Couneilmember Hard moved, seconded by Couneilmember Baldwin, that the Minutes of December <br />3, 1985 be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ADDENDA TO AGENDA <br />Mayor Eggert requested that the following items be added to the agenda and Council <br />agreed: 1) Schedule January 8, 1986 Meeting Time for 6:45 p.m. 2) Appointment of Robert <br />Gehrz to Park and Recreation Commission, and 3) Appointment of Ardis Hutchins to Park and <br />Recreation Commission. <br />AMENDMENT OF FIRE DEPT. PENSION BY-LAWS <br />Jay McNabb, representing the Fire Department, reviewed the proposed amendment to the Fire <br />Department Pension By-laws relating to the distribution of any City funding of the <br />Pension. Following the discussion Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Couneilmember Baldwin, <br />that the amendment to the by-laws be approved. Motion carried unanimously. <br />FALCON HEIGHTS OFFICE PARK DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br />Council reviewed the latest draft of the proposed development agreement for the Falcon <br />Heights Office Park and agreed that changes requested previously had been made. In reply <br />to an inquiry regarding street lighting in the development, Frank Kubitschek indicated <br />the lighting would be compatible with the theme for the office park and they will work <br />with the City Engineer when preparing plans. Following the short discussion <br />Couneilmember Chenoweth moved, seconded by Couneilmember Hard, that Resolution R-85_69 be <br />adopted, and that the Mayor and Clerk Administrator be authorized to sign the document. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-85-69 <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO ACCEPTANCE OF A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br />FOR FALCON HEIGHTS OFFICE PARK (STRATFORD INVESTMENTS LIMITED) <br />ROBERT GEHRZ,2285 FOLWELL, APPOINTID TO PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Couneilmember Hard, that Robert Gehrz, 2285 Folwell, be <br />appointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission to replace Annette Geistfeld. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
