MINUTES REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 28, 1981 ,~ A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Brown and Eggert. Also present were PRESENT Clerk Administrator Barnes and Attorney Allen. Councilmember Larson. Councilmember Steele arrived at 7:43 p.m. ABSENT Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the CONSENT AGEND Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. APPROVED 1. Fire Report 4CF-00818 Z. Rescue Reports 4~R-00381 - ~6R-00781 3. General Payroll 1/1/81 - 1/15/81 $ 3,565.35 4. Liquor Payroll 1/1/81 - 1/15/81 $ 3,638.88 5. General Disbursements 1/15/81 - 1/28/81 $34,447.42 Sinking Fund $ 6,676.50 6. Liquor Disbursements 1/13/81 - 1/26/81 $21,984.68 7. Ramsey County Sheriff's Report, October, 1980 f 8. Ramsey County Sheriff's Report, December, 1980 Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the MINUTES OF Minutes of January 14, 1981 be approved as corrected. Motion carried 1/14/81 unanimously. APPROVED Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that DUPLICATE a duplicate check be issued to Jan Bykowski in the amount of $28.00 CHECK FOR to replace Check ~~13229, dated October 8, 1980, which was lost in the $28.00 TO mail. Motion carried unanimously. (Councilmember Steele arrives.) BE ISSUED TO JAN BYKOWSKI Councilmember Brown informed Council that the Rescue Department suggested that the "no-load" fee for ambulance service be set at $35.00 NO-LOAD FEE rather than $65.00, which was previously approved. Councilmember Brown FOR AMBULANCE moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that the "no-load" fee be SET AT $35.00 established at $35.00. Motion carried unanimously. Clerk Administrator Barnes presented a proposed ambulance contract PROPOSED with the City of Lauderdale. After a discussion Councilmember Brown AMBULANCE moved, seconded by Councilmember Steele, that the contract be approved CONTRACT TO with the stipulated changes, and submitted to the City of Lauderdale BE PRESENTED for consideration. Motion carried unanimously. TO I~~UDERDAL Councilmember Steele also suggested that upon renewal of the Fire Contract with Lauderdale, Council consider changing the cancellation t clause to read 60 days rather than 30 days as it is presently stated. Attorney Allen reviewed the proposed vacation of the walkway between 1740 and 1746 Holton. The residents concerned have been unable to
