MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 11, 1981 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert and Larson. Also present were <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes, Attorney Allen and Engineer Lemberg. <br />Councilmembers Steele and Brown. <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, that the <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />1. Fire Reports 46F-00481 and 4~F-00581 <br />2. Lauderdale Fire Report ~~L-00281 <br />3. Rescue Reports ~~R-01181 - R-01881 <br />4. General Payroll 2/16/81 - 2/28/81 $ 4,591.14 <br />5. Liquor Payroll 2/16/81 - 2/28/81 $ 2,766.20 <br />6. Liquor Disbursements 2/24/81 - 3/9/81 $22,581.31 <br />7. General Disbursements 2/26/81 - 3/11/81 $ 5,040.25 <br />8. Liquor Store Financial Report, January, 1981 <br />%~ <br />PRESENT <br />ABSENT <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />APPROVED <br />Two items of New Business were added to the Agenda (1) authorization NEW BUSINESS <br />of payment to George M.. Hansen Company and (2) authorization to stop <br />payment on Check ~~13593 issued to Oaks Hardware in the amount of $555.69. <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, that the Minutes <br />of February 25, 1981 be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien presented for Council's consideration a request from <br />Martin Ammann, 1869 Moore, to construct an above ground swimming pool <br />on his property. Following a short discussion Councilmember Larson <br />moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that the request be granted. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Engineer Lemberg informed Council that Ramsey County is again requesting <br />the City's approval of Change Orders 3 and 4 on the Roselawn Ave. project <br />(both Change Orders were rejected at the February 11, 1981 meeting). <br />After discussing the matter Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by <br />Councilmember Larson, that the City agree to pay $307.66 for 1/6 of the <br />taper correction of $1,845.95 and make no payment at all toward the $408.81 <br />which was for driveway corrections necessary due to an error on the part <br />of the Ramsey County Engineer. Motion carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES OF <br />2/25/81 <br />APPROVED <br />AMMANN SWIM-~ <br />MING POOL <br />REQUEST-- <br />1869 MOORE <br />CHANGE ORDERS <br />ON ROSELAWN <br />AVE. PROJECT <br />Engineer Lemberg requested Council's authorization to prepare the 1981 1981 SEALCOAT- <br />seal coating specifications. Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Council- ING PROJECT <br />member Eggert, that the Engineer be authorized to prepare specifications <br />for the seal coating of all alleys in the City and the streets in the <br />' University Grove area. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
