1 MINUTES REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 24, 1981 PAGE 3 attend the meetings, as he had indicated an interest in doing so. Clerk Administrator Barnes noted that clean up following the tornado of June 14th is nearly complete. Also noted was a letter from Rev. Marion Docker of the Falcon Heights United Church of Christ, regarding a work- shop for long-term response to tornado victims in the area. Clerk Administrator Barnes requested that Council consider patching and repairing Pascal, Albert and Maple Knoll at Fry St. in conjunction with the 1981 sealcoating project. Since the sealcoating bid came in con- siderably lower than budgeted there are some funds available for the additional repair. Councilmember Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the Clerk Administrator be directed to contact the City Engineer, get estimates on the additional work, and then poll Council by telephone. Motion carried unanimously. Councilmember Larson informed that Oksana Yonan, 1882 Albert, has not removed her boat from the front of her home as was directed by the City Council. Some discussion followed regarding action necessary to follow up on incidents where residents refuse to comply with City Ordinances. Council directed the Clerk Administrator to follow up and file a complaint if necessary. Council requested, that periodically, they be provided with a list of complaints filed. Councilmember Brown announced that the Recreation Advisory Committee has set the date of July 30, 1981 as the time for the ice cream social at the City Park a TORNADO CLEAN UP NOTED PATCHING OF PASCAL, ALBERT & MAPLE KNOLL AT FRY ST. TC BE CONSIDERED CLERK-ADM. TO FOLLOW UP ON ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS ICE CREAM SOCIAL ON 7/30/81 Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson, that the ADJOURNMENT meeting be adjourned at 9:04 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
