• <br />• <br />• <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 12, 1981 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, and Eggert. Also present <br />were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Attorney Allen and Engineer Lemberg. <br />Councilmember Larson. <br />c~ <br />PRESENT <br />ABSENT <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the CONSENT <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that the <br />Minutes of July 22, 1981 be approved as corrected. Upon a vote being <br />taken the .following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />members Steele and Eggert, and the following voted against the same: <br />None. Councilmember Brown abstained. Motion carried. <br />The following new business was added to the agenda: (1) A resolution <br />establishing the rate of reimbursement for diseased tree removal, (2) <br />A resolution requesting Ramsey County's participation in the North <br />Suburban Youth Service Bureau, and (3) Street lighting on Larpenteur <br />Avenue. <br />The Public Hearing on the 1982 Budget and Revenue Sharing was opened at <br />8;00 p.m. by Mayor Warkentien. Council held a short discussion and <br />since no citizens wished to be heard, Councilmember Steele moved, <br />seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that the Revenue Sharing Funds be <br />assigned to the Policing Budget for 1982 and that the balance of the <br />1982 Budget discussion be deferred until August 26, 1981. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien presented for Council's approval the proposed list <br />of streets to be posted "No Parking" during the State Fair. Council- <br />member Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the following <br />streets be posted: <br />1. All of the Northome Addition <br />2. All of Hollywood Court including the alley. <br />
