• • • MINUTES REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 12, 1981 A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, and Eggert. Also present were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Attorney Allen and Engineer Lemberg. Councilmember Larson. c~ PRESENT ABSENT Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the CONSENT Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. Licenses: See attached list $ 5,519.51 $ 4,487.63 $ 2,407.73 $ 2,717.92 $46,616.72 $ 1,537.50 $57,223.57 Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the Minutes of July 15, 1981 be approved as corrected. Motion carried unanimously. Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that the Minutes of July 22, 1981 be approved as corrected. Upon a vote being taken the .following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Council- members Steele and Eggert, and the following voted against the same: None. Councilmember Brown abstained. Motion carried. The following new business was added to the agenda: (1) A resolution establishing the rate of reimbursement for diseased tree removal, (2) A resolution requesting Ramsey County's participation in the North Suburban Youth Service Bureau, and (3) Street lighting on Larpenteur Avenue. The Public Hearing on the 1982 Budget and Revenue Sharing was opened at 8;00 p.m. by Mayor Warkentien. Council held a short discussion and since no citizens wished to be heard, Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that the Revenue Sharing Funds be assigned to the Policing Budget for 1982 and that the balance of the 1982 Budget discussion be deferred until August 26, 1981. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Warkentien presented for Council's approval the proposed list of streets to be posted "No Parking" during the State Fair. Council- member Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the following streets be posted: 1. All of the Northome Addition 2. All of Hollywood Court including the alley.
